Politics have never been October “Toby” Daye’s strong suit. When she traveled to the Kingdom of Silences to prevent them from going to war with her home, the Kingdom of the Mists, she wasn’t expecting to return with a cure for elf-shot and a whole new set of political headaches.

I’ve been waiting for the next “Toby” Daye book what feels like forever but really has only been a year. Luckily, I wasn’t disappointed though it was an emotional roller-coaster but that’s nothing new. I found myself right back right back where I was before, just a little ahead. Toby was finally returning from the Kingdom of the Mists where she had been elf-struck. Now everyone was trying to decide if they were going to use the cure for elf-struck on everyone else that had been and any future people.
